After President Trump’s decision to ban CNN, MS NOW and Politico, the White House Correspondents Association issued a statement standing “in defense of our colleagues from CNN, MS Now, and Politico who are being singled out for doing their jobs.” The Network TV pools banded together and halted the White House television pool. We called on the White House press corps to go further: until President Trump removes his ban all reporters should boycott reporting from the White House. In just 24 hours, more than 100 journalists had signed on.
